She reveals to you a world that is seen through the eyes of an anthropologist that is in tune with the therapeutic values of the nature and human interests. What she see, that is what you get. Unlike some fine arts artists, Patrice does not use photographs in the creation of her beautiful paintings.

The 1999 First World Symposium on Culture, Health, and the Arts conducted a survey on the effects of art on medical outcomes when choosing psychologically appropriate art to serve a therapeutic purpose in health care settings. The results were that:

- the art should be obviously positive
- the images in the art should be recognizable
- depth in the picture seems to be important
- impressionistic art is acceptable as long as it is identifiable
- chaotic and abstract art should be avoided
- nature scenes should be sunny, with green vegetation rather than brown
- if people are represented, they should exhibit unambiguously positive facial expressions and gestures that are caring or nurturing.
